From 19th until 21st of October the largest creative industries event took place in Estonia – international conference Creative Entrepreneurship for a Competitive Economy that was opened by the President of Estonia Toomas Henrik Ilves.

Design Market Satama is a new Finnish fair focusing on design, handicrafts and industrial art, held at Wanha Satama in Helsinki – a premium business place. The event dates are 10.–12.2.2012; it is thus a central marketing event and meeting place right in the first half of the World Design Capital year.
Themes of this great Sales Exhibition are: design, glass, wood, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and gems,metalwork, and other handicrafts.
