AudioCat will represent Estonia in Creative Business Cup 2024

Estonia is represented at the global competition Creative Business Cup by AudioCat, which offers games for the visually impaired. The competition takes place on June 2nd-3rd in Copenhagen, Denmark, with participation from approximately 80 countries, each selecting a creative and innovative startup to represent them.
“The games developed by AudioCat have a tremendous social impact, opening up the gaming world to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to play video games,” commented jury member Sandra Saarniit from Startup Estonia.
“Participating in the Creative Business Cup can be beneficial for new entrepreneurs and startups in several ways. In addition to various awards, the event provides excellent opportunities for expanding knowledge, networking, and gaining inspiration. It also offers a unique chance to showcase one’s idea on a global scale,” said Eva Leemet, CEO of Creative Estonia.
In addition to the winner, representatives from the startups that secured second and third place will also attend the event in Copenhagen: Baubauwall, offering creative wallpapers that reduce paper waste in the construction sector, and Sortaider, providing environmentally friendly and well-designed waste sorting solutions.”

Ray Foil won the special prize from Tallinn Creative Incubator, consisting of 3 training sessions and 3 consultations, with their electric surfboard that encourages people to surf even in calm weather conditions.
Estonian Business School offers 3 ECTS worth of freely chosen training to Rahu Care, a company that produces innovative dry shampoos.
Baubauwall gains access to Beamline accelerator consultations.
Kelp Digital’s product, Macula, which solves copyright issues for electronically distributed materials, also received praise from the jury.
Creative Estonia has been the representative of the Creative Business Cup in Estonia since 2012.
The organization of Creative Business Cup Estonia preliminary rounds is supported by Estonian Business School, Prototron, Tallinn Creative Incubator, and Tartu Centre for Creative Industries.

The project is supported by Enterprise Estonia (EAS) from the European Regional Development Fund under the measure for the development of the creative industries.
