Creative Estonia hosts Creative Business Cup Baltic Bootcamp

CBCBalticCreative Business Cup Baltic Bootcamp will be held in Tallinn on Oct 10-12 in cooperation CKO (Center for Cultural and Experience Economy) and Creative Estonia.
Winners of local competitions from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden are invited to take some good advice from Estonian, Danish, Latvian best experts and train their pitching skills.

Estonia will be represented by our national winner of Creative Business Cup – Aiden app – software, that helps users monitor their state of depression. The developers have successfully used graphic and service design tools in the process. Aiden mobile app acts as a pocket therapist, helping to soothe one of the major contemporary problems of the world- depression.
Two other finalists will accompany Aiden in Copenhagen this autumn – Alfa Architecs with their module house project Alfabox ja and Derelict Furniture – the design agency that makes custom pieces of furniture out of recycled wood.

The experts panel consists of Andrei Korobeinik (entrepreneur and investor), Ragnar Siil (Creativity Lab , Managing Partner) ja Eva Leemet (Creative Estonia, CEO), Juko-Mart Kõlar (Estonian Ministry of Culture),angel investors and entrepreneurs Yrjö Ojasaar and Indrek Kasela, Vita Brakovska (Knowledge Angel at Knowledge and Innovation Society, Latvia) and Rasmus Wiinstedt Tscherning (Center for Cultural and Experience Economy).

Creative Business Cup will be held in Copenhagen on Nov 17-19.The purpose of Creative Business Cup is to strengthen the business competences of creative entrepreneurs. Through participating in the competition, all entrepreneurs should increase their ability to successfully start up a company based on their creative competences.
The setup of the global competition is that the winner from each country compete against other national winners at the Global Award Show in Copenhagen, Denmark, in November during Global Entrepreneurship Week. More creative entrepreneur teams from each country will also have the opportunity to come to Copenhagen for the international finals, but will not be qualified to compete for the title as the world’s best creative entrepreneur.

The award fund exceeds 100 000 USD and offers the participants great opportunities for networking and investor relations.
