15. oktoober, 2013

39f29c6802The next edition of our Festival will take place from 1 to 6 May 2014. As in previous years, works of all genres and formats may be submitted. International productions must not exceed a length of 35 minutes (German productions may not exceed 45 minutes). Please note: for both national and international submissions the production date must now be after 1 January 2014!

Please note further that the festival screening for an international production must be a German festival premiere, which will ensure a lot more media and industry attention.

There are two separate entry deadlines for international and German productions: international submissions must have reached Oberhausen by 15 January 2014 (German productions by 15 February 2014). There will be no more extensions!

Films can only be submitted via www.kurzfilmtage.de [http://www.kurzfilmtage.de/nc/en/60th-international-short-film-festival-…]. Thereby you can decide whether you’d like to send a preview DVD or simply upload the video data. In both cases, please don’t forget to send the entry form as well. All information regarding the submission you can find here [http://www.kurzfilmtage.de/en/submission/submission.html].

A submission via reelport.com is no longer possible, but if you decide to upload the video data, you will be redirected to reelport, as they still provide the frame conditions for the upload.

All submitted films/videos will be part of the Video Library, where they can be previewed by buyers, curators, representatives of other festivals and other professionals.

The MuVi-Award [http://www.kurzfilmtage.de/en/competitions/muvi-award.html] for the best German music video has its own set of regulations and entry form.

Further programme information about the 60th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen will be published at the beginning of 2014.
