Call for applications! Wanted: independent innovation experts
For the new Horizon 2020 programme, an EU initiative for research and innovation, the European Commission is on the hunt for innovation experts and businesses to monitor funded projects, evaluate programmes and develop policies. Interested? Applications can be sent in until 2020!
Until the end of the Horizon 2020 programme, the Commission will need experts to collaborate with. Though, the first projects proposals will be evaluated in the beginning of 2014. So interested experts can jump in right away.
The Horizon 2020 programma has three objectives: to strengthen the European position in science, to strenghten industrial leadership in innovation and to contribute to addressing major problems that concern all Europeans, such as food safety and security. The overall goal is ‘to tackle societal challenges by helping to bridge the gap between research and the market by, for example, helping innovative enterprise to develop their technological breakthroughs into viable products with real commercial potential’.
