Horizon 2020
The Horizon 2020 programma has three objectives: to strengthen the European position in science, to strenghten industrial leadership in innovation and  to contribute to addressing major problems that concern all Europeans, such as food safety and security. The overall goal is ‘to tackle societal challenges by helping to bridge the gap between research and the market by, for example, helping innovative enterprise to develop their technological breakthroughs into viable products with real commercial potential’.
