Towards New Dimensions in the Baltic Sea Co-operation: BSSSC Annual Conference 2013
The 21st BSSSC Annual Conference “Policymaking after 2013 – Towards New Dimensions in the Baltic Sea Co-operation” will take place at the Marina Congress Center in Helsinki, Finland on the 17th and 18th of October 2013.
The Annual Conference gathers around 250 participants from political and administrative level (local, regional, national and EU level) as well as representatives from academia, organizations, NGOs and the private sector from the 11 countries taking part in the Baltic Sea cooperation. The conference will broadly cover traditional BSSSC policy areas such as maritime policy, energy and climate, youth, the northern and arctic dimension and cohesion policy. In addition, the subject of culture will be discussed.
Speakers include representatives of the EU Commission, European Parliament, Committee of the Regions, Republic of Finland, CBSS, CPMR and many more. In addition to the seminar a project café will be organized in co-operation with the Central Baltic Interreg IV A Programme.
